Today's session was aimed at well-being and exercise. Our young person and mentor completed a 3 mile walk at Coombe Abbey. Our young person was using her smart watch to track her distance, monitor calories burnt, and oxygen levels. She is highly motivated to lose weight and improve her sleep. In addition she has used her journal to log bad habits she wishes to stop. We won't show you these as they are personal but we can say they show amazing self awareness and courage. This demonstrates that she is able to make positive changes to improve her health and mental health.
We will keep encouraging and supporting her in the healthy choices she is independently making for herself.
We have given her tools to use on her fitness journey, such as a watch, journal, healthy cookbooks and exercise ball, which she will continue to use.
Promote and encourage her to improve her mental health and self-esteem.
